Navionics+ charts and Navionics Updates

Navionics+ pre-loaded chart cards replace Gold charts. These chart cards include navigation detail as with previous Gold charts and also the option of SonarChart™ and Community Edits. The charts can be updated online as often as required during the twelve months following online registration at Navionics.com.

To update your chart and continue with online updates at the end of the twelve month period a Navionics Updates card (blank or pre-loaded with a chart area) can be purchased for around half the price of a Navionics+ card. This card is activated online using any Navionics+ Card or Updates Card (each Navionics+ and Updates card may be used once for this process - the card being used to activate the new Updates card does not have to be the same format or chart area as the new Updates card being activated). The previous card can be retained and used as a spare and the Updates card may be updated as often as required during the twelve months following registration. At the end of the twelve month period the process may be repeated with the used Updates card being used to activate a new Updates card.

In this process the activating card may activate another card of any chart area or format. For example an expired 28XG UK and Ireland CF card can be used to activate a 46XG Western Europe CF card giving a useable card for each of the two areas. The 28XG CF card could also be used to activate a 46XG SD/MSD card.

There is no need to return your old chart when updating with Navionics Updates (except Platinum and Navionics+ Small Charts which must still be exchanged)

Keep your charts constantly updated for around £2 per week!

With Navionics+ you receive a blank Navionics+ card and download the chart area from within the chart of your choice. You have the option of also downloading Sonar charts and Comunity edits up to 2GB of data and alter/refresh your selected area and chart layers at any time duing the year following registration of the chart. At the end of the year you can buy a Navionics Updates card - available at approximately half the price of the new chart and continue as before for another year.
